In an expansion of its services, the client requested the development of a concept and business case for the co-location of a variety of aged care and retirement living options (with varying degrees of health support) as well as the inclusion of commercially-led consulting rooms on a Brownfield site in Wodonga.
Select Architects developed a master plan to bring the benefits of the co-location to all residents and to the wider community. Undertaking a comprehensive review of the site and economic assessment, the master plan included active street frontages, a variety of accommodation options with a varying degree of services, in a built form of up to 4 storey’s.
Our Architects designed the master plan layout and built form to address potential user fragility, need for safety and unique sign posting for clients with dementia.
