Select Architects were engaged for the refurbishment of The Sands Torquay Club House & Hotel. This included rooms, common spaces, complete refurbishment of the external finishes, and addition of porte cochere. We also enjoyed the opportunity to Refurbish the Restaurants, Bars and Outdoor Dining Area.
Select Architects prepared concepts and “coastal chic” palettes which included selection of colours, materials, finishes and fixtures for the client. The transformation is quite remarkable, from a dark, dated and neglected environment into a bright, coastal and high end customer experience.
The refurbishment has breathed fresh air into a stale and neglected environment. The resort is now buzzing and re-establishing itself as the life blood of the community.
