The iconic Spirit of Tasmania has relocated its Victorian operations from Port Melbourne to Corio Quay.
Select Architects were engaged by D&C Contractor Kane Constructions to deliver the Developed Design and Construction Documentation for the new terminal building, as well as assistance and instruction throughout the Construction period.
The new passenger terminal building includes security facilities, public amenities, food and beverage outlets and a children’s play area. An administration wing includes office space and accommodation facilities for staff.
The terminal will provide a contemporary and comfortable experience for the hundreds of thousands of passengers who travel on Spirit of Tasmania every year.
Select Architects worked closely with the wider project team and participated in numerous workshops with the tenant’s consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure the project requirements detailed in the preliminary design and PRP documents were delivered to a high standard.
