Select Architects were commissioned to develop the existing IGA supermarket site to produce a harbour view apartment complex that compliments the surrounding heritage listed buildings.
Site constraints were the existing buildings on the boundaries, Heritage Overlays, Rescode setbacks, Fire rating, Emergency Egress and Parking. Schematic Design, Design Development, Town Planning, Construction, and Documentation were completed.
Select Architects worked through Town Planning objections to create a building for all to enjoy and worked through site annomalies. The team researched and found products that were both aesthetic and functional to create a multi faceted façade and used materials to both compliment and stand out.
The end result was a beautifully detailed, mutli level apartment building, with harbour views and high end finishes.
