Select Architects were engaged, on pro bono basis, to give the Spuhan Ave location in Norlane an inspiring new look and purpose. Transforming the historic site into a purpose built Neighbourhood Hub.
Initially built to house the Norlane Baptist Church in the 1930’s, Spuhan Avenue was adopted by NCI as a gathering space for residents in the local community.
The design included:
An Urban Farm, Community Kitchen, Dining Hall, Community Cafe, Kids Play Area, Makers Space, Co-Working Office.
With works beginning this year we look forward to seeing the build come together.
