Formally the home of Geelong Football Club’s longest serving President (Jack Jenning), “Jack’s Place” celebrates views over the historical Botanic Gardens and is 200m from Geelong’s Waterfront. The client required a new state of the art home which celebrates it’s historical roots, with city views and respect to it’s neighbouring Victorian styled residences.
Cognisant of the surrounding Victorian House, the design sought to be respectful of the scale and grain of these properties while creating a striking open and free-flowing home for the couple approaching retirement. The prominent site required careful design and sightlines to and from the adjacent botanical gardens, bay and city.
The clients are grateful not only from the striking and sensitive design of their home, but always by the seamless and stress free approach and delivery by Select Architects.
