The project involves designing and documenting a new full-line GYG store on an existing carwash site in Aspendale Gardens, with Select Architects handling the Design Development, construction documentation, and site architect services.
Select architect were engaged to design and document a new full line GYG store over an existing carwash site in Aspendale gardens. Select architects were engaged after the town planning phase by Case mealling to deliver & coordinate the Design Development (DD) and construction documentation (CD) phases. Select architects were subsequently novated to Insitu Group to assist in the delivery of a D+C procurement model, inclusive of site architect services during construction and DLP.
The project included the majority of the existing carwash to be demolished to make way for a the new store and drivethrough with the expection of the automatic carwash tunnel and associated plantroom.
In addition to the scope of the new store, to ensure consistency across the development, GYG branding and colours were applied to the existing tunnel carwash.
