To relocate specific services within the existing Waurn Ponds Campus Building in order to provide space for a shared Engineering Workshop and Office and Amenities space dedicated to the School of Engineering and CSIRO at Deakin University.
Select Architects worked closely with Deakin University, key stakeholders and user groups to formulate a design that adhered to the end-user’s needs and Deakin University’s strict building and design standards. Strict programming and consultant management was required to meet a tight project deadline, including the procurement and commissioning of a new transformer to service the new facility. Careful consideration and scheduling of proposed machinery, plant and equipment was undertaken to ensure services and structural requirements were perfectly coordinated.
Deakin’s School of Engineering and CSIRO were ecstatic with the functional workspace delivered by Select Architects.
