Select Architects delivered design development, landlord and base building coordination, tender and construction documentation for the extension of an ALDI tenancy. The project included demolition, internal refurbishment, new fixtures, joinery, amenities upgrades, lighting, mechanical and refrigeration services, and shelving installation. Following the tender process and building permit approval, contract administration and defects liability management were handed over to ALDI Stores, with Staark appointed as the fit-out contractor.
Select Architects prepared clear, concise documentation to ensure the fit-out scope was well defined for the contractor, supporting ALDI Stores in its role as Superintendent throughout construction. Working collaboratively with ALDI Stores and the builder, the project team
adapted the scope and deliverables to align with the client’s budget while maintaining quality outcomes. The project was successfully delivered on time and on budget, resulting in a highly satisfied client.
