Bringing Channels House into the 21st Century setting the bench mark for revitalisation of central Geelong. Select Architects were the client’s representative for the administration of Builder, Authorities, and Specialist Consultants’ relationships.
This client had desires for a new colour scheme, 2 additional floors, a roof garden, and infilling above the Porte Cochere. The inclusion of a new lift, modernised foyers, additional car parking, and a new façade treatment within a tight time frame, made the project complex. Additionally, the management of the existing tenancies of professional service organisations and the importance of the minimal disruption to their operations will increase this complexity.
