On Saturday, Haylea Fitzsimmons, Associate and Senior Project Leader at Select Architects, joined forces with PlanGroup builders to attend the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative’s annual NAIDOC Ball at Mount Duneed Estate.
This special evening brought together the local Aboriginal community to celebrate the theme: “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”
The event featured a delicious two-course meal, live music, and the presentation of the Belle, Beau, Matron, and Patron awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to the community.
This participation underscores Select Architects’ commitment to engaging with and supporting Indigenous communities, fostering relationships that promote cultural awareness and collaboration.
