On Sunday 23rd, Ellen, Andrew, and Michelle took part in the Melbourne Corporate Triathlon for Launch Housing to raise money for their homelessness charity.
The team came in determined and put on a solid performance. Ellen dominated in and out of the water putting on a stellar performance and setting us up for success in the first leg with a staggering time of 14 mins. Andrew peddled his legs off battling a strong head wind for the first 5km and brought it back strong for the return 5km with a time of 22mins on the bike and last but not least, Michelle brought it all home in the run with a blistering pace of 23mins for 4km.
All in all, a time of 59.37 placing us smack on 200th place out of 427 teams. Super proud of the Select team.
Our team were able to fundraise $682! It’s been a tough few years, with a cost of living and housing crisis leaving many more people at risk of losing their home so it is great to see so many people helping support those who need it.
