A founding principle of our practice is giving back to the community that supports us, as well as paying forward opportunities for others. For our Founder and Director Peter Serra, one of the benefits of running his own business is having the freedom to focus on community.
Peter is a current director of the Barwon Health Foundation, which raises funds for the lifesaving and life-changing work of Barwon Health. He’s served on many committees and boards over the past decade including St Vincent de Paul, Rotary, the Geelong Club and Samaritan House.
The practice has donated considerable time and resources to countless community projects – from building entire villages in Fiji to providing pro bono support for a raft of worthy causes closer to home. Select is a current sponsor of genU Karingal St Laurence.
“To actively give, without expecting anything in return is a truly rewarding experience. It is incumbent upon us as professionals in the community to actively give back especially to the disempowered and disenfranchised,” says Peter.
