A key measure of the success of the design is the efficiency of
workflows associated with the various processes of receiving
old batteries for decommissioning and the production of new
batteries, commissioning and then storage awaiting dispatch.

The building design addresses several unique requirements: –

-Truck movements through the site for receiving the old
batteries and dispatching the new batteries;
-Reinforced floor for the movement and storage of heavy
components;
-Production workflow through the building, including the spatial
connections of staff, management and the various production
stages.
-Appropriate staff amenities for workers involved in corrosive
environments.
-Meeting rooms and public spaces which reflect PMB’s highly
sophisticated capabilities.

The building is designed in two parts consisting of: –

-Warehouse and production facility                               8000m2
-Staff Amenities and Engineering workshop                3000m2
